Secret Camouflage from Laura Mercier

The product that I would like to share with you in my August blog is ‘Secret Camouflage’ from Laura Mercier.

This is a product that I have been using myself as it can completely camouflage dark circles, minor imperfections and discolourations. The clever thing about this product is that it has a ‘two-shade system’ with one of there to match the colour of the skin and the other to match the undertone of the skin. The beauty of this system is that it makes it possible for every woman (yes everyone!) to achieve their very own perfect shade. Furthermore because the product is so good you really don’t need to apply much on your skin to get the look you are wanting. Please don’t forget to apply this after you have put your foundation in – it is an easy mistake to make.

I have listed below the way to apply the product for those that aren’t sure:

Pick up the product with a brush by dragging across both pans, saturating both sides of the brush.
Using the back of your hand as a palette, use the brush to warm and mix the two colors until you find the shade that matches your skin tone.

Wipe off the excess product on a clean area of your hand and using feather-light strokes, apply Secret Camouflage to the darkened areas of the face – blemishes, shadows, scars, capillaries, the area around the nose, shadows under the bottom lip and any imperfections that the foundation does not cover.

After application, pat the product lightly with your fingertips.
